The City of Anniston wishes everyone a happy, safe, and uplifting Thanksgiving! Please, see below for a list of upcoming holiday season news, notes, and events: 

Carver Community Center Thanksgiving Feeding 

-When: Thursday, November 24th 11am-2pm

-Wiggins Community Center Thanksgiving Dinner 

-When: Thursday November 24th 11am-1pm

-Please note that in observance of Thanksgiving, city facilities will be closed on Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25.

-However, please note the Anniston Museums and Gardens will resume their Winter hours on Friday, November 25.

-In addition, Republic Services (trash pickup) will be closed Thursday, Nov 24. They will run Saturday, Nov. 26 to catch up.

-Annual Anniston City Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony 

-When: Thursday 12/1 at 5pm

-Details: Come out and have some fun and complimentary hot cocoa with us!

-Annual Anniston Police Dept. Christmas Toy Drive 

-When: Ongoing until Dec. 9, 2022

-2022 Downtown Anniston Christmas Parade 

-When: Dec. 6, 2022 | Christmas Village opens at 5:00 PM and the parade starts at 6:30 PM.
