2023 Winter Program Registration begins online Mon., Nov. 7

The 2023 Auburn Parks and Recreation winter brochure is now available in print or online at auburnalabama.org/parks. Printed brochures are available at the Harris Center, the Auburn Public Library and all Auburn Parks and Recreation facilities.

Registration for winter programs will begin Mon., Nov. 7. Visit auburnal.myrec.com to create an account to register for fall programs, fall youth athletics or to reserve a park, pavilion or facility. For more information, call 334-501-2930.

Jingle Jog and Santa Stroll online registration going on now

The Jingle Jog 5k and Santa Stroll Fun Run are here again – so pull out those Santa hats and ugly sweaters! Join Active Auburn on Saturday, December 3rd at 6:30 a.m. as we ring in the holiday season in style! The Santa Stroll Fun Run (1 mile) will begin at 6:30 a.m. at Toomer’s Corner and the Jingle Jog 5k will begin at 7:00 a.m. at Toomer’s Corner.

A schedule of registration fees is as follows:

Santa Stroll Fun Run:

Early Bird Registration: September 5 – October 28 - $15

Registration: October 29 – November 17*: $20

Late Registration: November 18 – November 26: $25

Day-of Registration: December 3: $35

Jingle Jog 5k:

Early Bird Registration: September 6 – October 28 - $20

Registration: October 29 – November 17*: $25

Late Registration: November 18 – November 26: $35

Day-of Registration: December 3: $45

*In order to be guaranteed a t-shirt, participants must register by Thursday, November 17th.

Holiday Art Sale Sat., Nov. 19

The Auburn Arts Association and Auburn Parks and Recreation Department will host the 16th annual Holiday Art Sale on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center, Harris Center and the Frank Brown Recreation Center. The Holiday Art Sale is a great place to get a head start on your Christmas shopping while meeting local artists selling their own unique handmade work. Admission is FREE and open to the public!

The event features local and regional artists selling handmade works, including pottery, paintings, personalized items, photography, handmade soap, jewelry, gourmet food items, scarves, hats, candles and more! A portion of the proceeds support the Auburn Arts Association and their many art education programs.
