Dear Calera Utility Customer,
This letter serves as notice to inform you of the upcoming utility rate increase for water and wastewater services that will appear on your January 2023 billing cycle, due on February 25, 2023. The City Council and Water Board hired Jackson Thornton Certified Public Accountants and Consultants to provide a Water and Wastewater Cost of Service Study. The results of their study were presented at the Water Board and City Council meetings on November 21, 2022. The presentation given to the City Council and the minutes for each meeting can be viewed on the city website at www.cityofcalera.org.
