The Water Works & Sewer Board of the City of Gadsden is currently accepting applications for an Accountant. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. The salary range is $53,500 to $81,000 per year.
Minimum five years experience in one or more of the following areas: governmental accounting, fiscal and budgetary planning or maintenance, auditing, computerized accounting and investments. B.S. degree in Accounting. Knowledge of SAGE 100 and other computer/data processing skills preferred.
Responsibilities include Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll, financial statement preparation, provides a record of assets and liabilities, and other duties as assigned.
