Appointment of Vacant City Council Seat
Notice Is Hereby Given that the City of Helena Alabama will accept applications for appointment to the City Council to fill the vacancy created by the election of Council Member Hulsey to the Alabama State House. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, reside within the corporate limits of the City of Helena, and be registered to vote in the City Helena at the time of application.
Applications will be accepted and should include information for the council to assess their knowledge, skills and qualifications, as well as a reason and desire to serve. Applicants must also make themselves available to answer questions from council members during the selection process.
