City Of Madison News Caution: Spam Call Not MPD

The City of Madison Police Department cautions the community on spam calls claiming to be from MPD non-emergency number. The spammers may claim they have warrants and need the caller to pay over the phone. The non-emergency number does show on the call, but the call is a spoof.
If you receive a similar call, please hang up. Contact Madison Police Communications non-emergency line at (256) 722-7190 to report the issue to MPD directly.
