Book It!: Teen Bookmark Design Contest

November 1 – November 30

(6th-12th Grade) We're turning bookmark design over to the teens! Teens can create and submit up to three bookmark designs. One design will be selected, printed, and distributed within the Library. Designs must be 2.5x7 inches with a front and back design. The Library recommends using www.canva.com to create free digital designs. Formats should be .jpg or .png files. Teen Homeschoolers: Dumbledore’s Army

Tuesday, November 1, from 1-2 p.m. Rm 109

Magic: the Gathering for Teens

Tuesdays, November 1 & 15, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Rm 109

(6th-12th Grade) Interested in learning about Magic: the Gathering? Each game represents a battle between wizards known as “planeswalkers”, who employ spells, artifacts, and creatures depicted on individual Magic cards to defeat their opponents. Teen Theatre Thursdays

Sign Language Classes for Teens

Saturdays, November 5 & 19, from 2-3 p.m. Room 109

(6th-12th Grade) A representative from the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind (AIDB) Birmingham Regional Center will be teaching American Sign Languages (ASL) classes. Online ACT Practice Test with Princeton Review

Saturdays, November 5 & 19, from 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

(6th-12th Grade) Don’t procrastinate! Take action NOW to ensure you improve your ACT Score. Try a full-length FREE practice ACT test online today. This free practice test is offered by Princeton Review. After the practice test, you’ll receive a comprehensive score report detailing your strengths and weaknesses. Register online.
