Closed for Christmas
The library will close Friday, December 23rd through Monday, December 26th for the holiday. No items will be due, and we will resume normal business hours Tuesday!

Career Outreach Day

The library has partnered with the Oneonta Career Center to bring a Career Outreach Day to our lobby. Visit anytime between 11am and 4pm on Thursday, December 15th to chat with our Career Center representative about anything relating to job search or professional development!

Book Club

Did you know we have an adult book club where we read monthly picks and have discussions over snacks? Ask the front desk for your copy of the next book club read! New members are always welcome :)

Craft Kits

We will be offering holiday-themed craft kits for all ages to take home! Check our yellow cart to see what's available.

Thursday the 1st at 5:30PM

DECORATE THE LIBRARY! CHRISTMAS EDITION

Teens can visit the library at 5:30pm to help decorate the building for Christmas! Go crazy with our winter décor and show us what Christmas at the library looks like. Hot cocoa will be available for our helpers.
NOTE: Volunteer hours will be signed off for anyone who requests it.

CHRISTMAS STORY TIME

FAMILY CHRISTMAS CARD DECORATING

All ages are welcome to join us at the library for a cozy evening of Christmas card decorating! Make something special for your family and friends this holiday season. All materials will be provided, so get creative.

BOOK CLUB MEETING

Pick up your monthly Book Club book at each meeting or at the front desk! This month's Book Club book is Rocket Boy by Homer Hickam. Join us for a discussion of this bestselling memoir.

So begins Homer "Sonny" Hickam Jr.'s extraordinary memoir of life in Coalwood, West Virginia - a hard-scrabble little mining company town where the only things that mattered were coal mining and high school football and where the future was regarded with more fear than hope.

JAM SESSION

Do you play an instrument? Sort of? Or just like to listen? Bring your instruments - or ears! - to the library Friday, December 16th and jam out with fellow musicians, learn something new, or pull up a chair and enjoy the free concert.
