I Have A Pot Problem - Sherry Blanton, May 3rd at 2:00pm
Sherry enjoys creating beautiful container gardens.  She is as enthusiastic about the containers as she is about the plants.  Learn how satisfying it is to garden in containers!  (Make sure to stay for the container giveaway)

Girls Night Out - With Paintology 101, May 6th at 6:00pm

Tech Event : Using the Alabama Virtual Library  May 4th at 2:00pm
Join us in the Ayers Room for our Monthly Tech Event!  This month, we will be discussing how to use the Alabama Virtual Library, and all of the free and helpful resources that are available to residents.  Stay for the prize drawing at the end of the program!

National Technology Day : History of Computers May 11th at 2:00pm
Join us in the Ayers Room for our National Technology Day.  Learn all about the history of computers, make some new friends and enter for a chance to win the prize drawing!

Netflix Originals Trivia Night, May 5th at 6:00pm
How well do you know your Netflix Originals?  Come to the Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County and put your knowledge to the test.  Teams of up to four will compete for prize money. 

Escape the MACUSA
(A Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Themed Escape Room)
Groups of up to six people have one hour to solve the puzzles to escape.  $20.00 per group.  Reserve your spot today at publiclibrary.cc/escaperoom.  All dates and times available will be listed on the website.  

YA Summer Reading Program, All Summer
Come join in the summer reading fun in the YA Department!  Make sure to mark your calendars for all the fun events that are planned for teens!

Homeschooler Computer Class, May 6th at 11:00am
Join us at the Carver Branch on the first Friday of every month for the Homeschooler Computer Class.  Learn everything from how to make spreadsheets, light coding, graphic design and how to make a resume!  

Teen Take & Make Crafts, All May
Every month, pick up your DIY craft kits in the teen department at the library.  There will be two kits available every month.  This April, we have Stress Less Kits and Zen Gardens.  Sponsored by Wal-Mart.

Anime Club, May 12th at 4:00pm
Come to the Ayers room to discuss a new manga title every month, and enjoy Japanese snacks and prizes!  This May, we will be discussing Orange.

Dungeons & Dragons on Discord, May 14th at 1pm

Virtual Reality Wednesdays, Starting June 1st
Every Wednesday during the Summer, we'll have the HTC Vive out in the Teen Area!  Sign up for a 30 minute slot and enter the metaverse!  (Parents must sign consent form | Ages 13+)

Game Night, May 26th at 6:00pm
Virtual Reality, (VR users must be 13+), board games, card games, party games! You name it; we'll be playing it. Bring your friends or make some new ones!

Children's Services

Storytime, Tuesdays at 10 am.
Come back to the library and join us for Storytime every Tuesday at 10 am in the Ayer's Room! This will be a socially distanced story time with a craft. A recording of the story will be made available on Facebook.

Pick-Up Craft, weekly in April.
Each week a new craft will be available. You can pick up a kit in the Children's Department.

Lego League, April 13th at 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Come build with LEGO bricks in the Children's Department!

Summer Reading Program : Oceans of Possibilities, June - July
