Trussville Public Library is open daily for in-person browsing.

Curbside service is also available during business hours. Place holds using the online catalog and schedule your curbside pickup time for quick and easy service.

Readin' with Legion FC

Friday, May 13th |  4:00pm

Meet us in the park for a special storytime with Legion FC pro soccer players! Players will read a few soccer-themed books and lead children in some soccer exercise drills. This program will take place in the grassy area near the first hole of the Civitan Disc Golf Course. Parking is available at the Senior Center, or take a short walk from the library by following the path to the footbridge.

Best for Elementary Ages.

It's Time to Talk About

Mental Health

Make plans to join us for a special 2-part series about mental health. Parents will gain insight and resources from a variety of community partners during the first session on May 5th. Jermaine Wall, LICSW, a clinical therapist for Children's Hospital PIRC, will discuss the parenting challenges we face regarding our children's mental health.

Teens will watch a National Alliance on Mental Illness presentation on May 12th. Then Christa McCrorie, clinical social worker and founder of Creative Therapeutic Solutions, will lead a discussion on stress management and mental health.

Adult Book Club at Ferus Artisan Ales

Monday, May 9th |  7:15pm

Connect with your community and share your thoughts about this month's book club pick while enjoying delicious food and drinks at Ferus. This month we will be discussing Project Hail Mary by Anthony Weir. This club will meet each month in Ferus Artisan Ales' community room.

Summer Reading Kick-Off

We're diving into the Oceans of Possibilities during our Summer Reading Program! Join us on Friday, June 3rd from 5:00 - 7:00 for the kick-off event. Join us behind the library for free activities and treats for all ages! Pick up information about this year's summer reading challenge and events. Food vendors will be available for purchase.
