One of my favorite places to visit in Birmingham.I love the art here, and the new exhibits are always nice to look at. The sculpture garden is also one of my favorite spots in the museum. Great collection of art from different areas across the world and time periods. It’s a great place to go if you have some time on your hands in Birmingham, plus there is no entrance fee to get in!

Really enjoyed my time at the museum. Lots of artwork to look at, spent over two hours looking around and I could have stayed longer. There are inside and outside exhibits. Beautiful fountain outside the museum. There were setting up for a wedding and reception, I was told that the reception money helps to fund the museum. The gift shop was kind of small, would have liked for it to be bigger with more variety of souvenirs and gifts.

I didn't need to worry about parking because they have their own parking area. They have a wide variety of exhibits! There is also a section just for kids to make their very own art work. A good place to take the entire family!

Beautiful museum with excellent collections. The Wedgwood collection is the best one I have seen. Asian art from China, Japan, India, Korea has well selectedExemplars of their culture. Excellent Buddhist art. Very interesting exhibits of African, meso American art and culture. At the moment, Two interesting exhibits of Southern folk art and contemporary interpretation of civil rights in Alabama in the context of world struggles.
