AWESOME ZOO!! Very large inventory of animals!! ( Took us 4 hours just to look at them all). Very clean. Staff very friendly. Lots to do! Wild slide, 2 splash pads for the kids, train ride, camel rides, giraffe feeding, ext. Very shady walk through most of the zoo. Set up wonderful. Restaurant drinks and food a little pricey but they did have coke machines throughout. Just make sure to bring cash for machines. We all had a blast!! Definitely will be going back soon!!!!

I wanted to love this zoo, but I didn't. Maybe I'm used to larger zoos with more animals. If you're going to the zoo for the first time, you'll probably be impressed. However, I grew up in the Chicagoland area, so I'm accustomed to amazing zoos with lots of animals and so much to do! There was no gorilla and the big cats were...well there were hardly any. They do have lots of beautiful birds though! If you're a bird lover...check it out! Oh! And the food was pretty good.

Great place to take younger children. Train ride is cool and my kids loved the carousel. There seemed to be a lot of the animals under veterinarian care while we were there so they were not viewable , feeding the giraffe was a big hit , worth the money in photos alone. There is a small splash pad to cool of in so make sure you are prepared for that with a change of clothes.

Great zoo. I liked how they used the space and designed the walking experience. The animals seem to have well-designed enclosures and their keepers seem to care well for them. The animals are generally active and healthy-looking, and the message on conservation was strong throughout the zoo. I did feel that a lot of the glass screens for the enclosures need to be deep-cleaned or changed. Some of them are so blurred over by stains and such.

If you haven't been in several years you need to come! They've added so much -the kids will love it! Best of all they're still working on new stuff. I can't wait to see the final product!
