Me and my wife love to visit, we make it a point to go at least once a year. The garden is beautiful and very well kept. There are bottle refill stations throughout the garden with plenty of seating to rest if needed. You can take snacks inside and they offer discounts for college students and I believe also military. The garden is filled with tons of variety all very thoughtfully arranged. They also host many community events and display some of the projects on the grounds. There is also a children's area with plenty of more interactive things for kids to touch and do. Honestly I feel I have done little justice in this review; you may not feel so compelled to make annual trips as me and my wife do but this place is definitely worth the trip.

The gardens are one of my favorite places to visit locally. They are so well maintained and gorgeous it's almost like taking a mini vacation. This is also a great venue for weddings and parties. The butterfly pavilion is perfect for little girl birthday parties. If you've never visited the gardens I highly suggest you take advantage of their yearly membership so that you can see all of the special installations that they have throughout the year.

Every year, the Huntington Botanical Gardens produces the Galaxy of Lights, which is a Christmas lights extravaganza featuring larger-than-life animated light displays. The displays include Santa soaring over a delightful winter village. Nursery rhyme characters dance and frolic among traditional scenes of the season. And, best of all, experience the magic of the twinkling icicle forest. Galaxy of Lights is the perfect holiday treat for the young and young-at-heart. The Galaxy Light display depends on volunteers to man each night and welcomes any new group or family willing to participate in the production of the display. The proceeds from the displays goes to the maintenance of the botanical gardens, which during the day, offers an amazing opportunity to see and roam this very extensive garden.

We love going to the botanical gardens. We bought a family membership and have been several times. The most recent visit was for an Easter egg hunt that was only available for members. There membership was worth it for that alone. They also have plant sales and the Christmas lights are phenomenal. There aren't fun things to do year round.
