Our library programs are starting back up! We have added programs for 18 years and up - we are so excited about this! Some programs require registration so read the information and register if needed! We look forward to seeing you in the library!

September 18, 2023 | 6:00p.m.

Learn how to create a beautiful bud vase using locally grown flowers/foliage from Ingadi Flower Farm. Rebecca Rowley will teach you some flower arranging techniques you can use for any arrangement. There is a limit of 20 so make sure you register!

September 9, 2023 | 12:00 - 1:00

Come by the Friends of the Chelsea Library Patio Book Sale on September 9 from 12:00 - 1:00pm for a free back to school icecream for the first 100 Kids. While the kids are enjoying their icecream you can browse the books that are for sale. All books are .50 cents!

Dungeons and Dragons is back!!! We have two groups now meeting at the library.

One group meets on Mondays from 4:00 - 6:00pm beginning September 11. This group is for 12 - 14 year olds. This group is limited to 8.

The second group meets on Wednesdays from 4:00 - 6:00 pm beginning September 13. This group is for 15 years and up. This group is limited to 6.

Please make sure you register for these groups. We do have a wait list so if the group is full we will bring in someone on the waitlist. If we have enough on the waitlist and someone willing to lead the group we will consider forming another group!

Join us every 3rd Friday from 1:00 - 2:00pm for Homeschool Hangout! This month come ready to play ice breaker games and get to know each other.,

Teen theater club will resume on Friday September 15!

Join us on Saturdays at the Library!

2nd Saturday is LEGO Saturday from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Join us each week to build, participate in challenges, and just have a great time!

3rd Saturday from 10:00am - 11:30pm for Pokemon Trading Club! This meets on the patio.

4th Saturday is STEAM. Join Ms. Kim on the patio for all kinds of activities and challenges each Saturday from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

HomeworkAlabama.org provides free homework tutoring and test prep materials in over 40 subjects, including math, science, social studies, and language arts.

Tutors are available seven days a week from 3PM to 10PM.

Also includes Princeton Review’s SAT/ACT Essentials and live online career coaching seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Homework Alabama is available remotely to all Alabamians.
